We started the renovation by demolishing the bottom of the stairs and removing a door to create a more spacious and open feel for our clients. After entering the basement on carpeted stairs and stepping onto 5 mm luxury vinyl plank, the first stop is now the new five-foot wet bar, where black wooden cabinets anchor gorgeous multi-coloured granite. The white subway tile backsplash defines the nook, which includes a stainless steel mini-fridge and sink.
Potlights overhead brighten this basement, along with neutral colour choices for the walls. We also finished the walk-in closet in the living room, allowing for ample storage.
The bedroom has been converted to an office. We carpeted the room to keep it cozy and comfortable. The carpeting also helps to absorb sound, an oft-requested option when working from home.

In the bathroom, we matched the granite countertop and cabinet colours with the wetbar in the media room. Here, the subway tile backsplash is a soft grey, gently echoing the mood of the room, both here and surrounding the tub and shower combo. The wood vanity is 31” and the room features standard Delta plumbing fixtures throughout.

We took the entertainment level up a notch with our famous TV Package, ensuring the large flatscreen has a dedicated outlet, because no one wants to deal with streaming issues in the middle of a movie. We also emphasized the nook between the stairs and the mechanical room, making it the perfect spot for cabinets and shelving.
