Our clients can fix themselves a drink as soon as they walk down the stairs to their new basement, with the custom bar we installed with floating shelves, a sink and refrigerator.
The subway tiles above the bar in a low-key taupe set a tasteful colour story that includes grey-beige on the walls and luxury vinyl plank on the floor.
We installed cozy 28-ounce carpet with 10-pound underlay on the stairs, in the bedrooms, the theatre room and under the stairs, where we created a kids’ play area. In the additional kids’ room we installed Ikea cabinets and a colorful climbing wall that will keep the little ones entertained for hours.

Theatre
The theatre room is the crown jewel of this basement renovation, with our full formal setup, including our Theatre TV Package with 7.1 Surround Sound. We have hidden extra wires and built a framed bump-out to contain the audio visual units. We built a custom platform for raised seating to ensure optimum viewing. We installed potlights in the ceiling but painted the walls a moody grey to keep attention focused on the screen. The same cozy carpet from the kids’ room is used here.
