This basement installation was done in a single-family home in Calgary. To make the most out of the existing space for the client, we built this basement around a central living area that would combine an entertainment area as well as a home gym. In addition, we also added a guest bedroom, guest bathroom, and furnace room as other components of the basement.
As a finishing touch to our installation, we implemented a textured ceiling and level 4 finish drywall. The paint, trim, and doors were also designed to match the upper level of the home. For flooring, we implemented a 5 mm luxury vinyl plank, with the exception of the bedroom, which has 25 oz Shaw carpet.

When clients work with Basement Builders, they have the opportunity to choose from a number of different bathrooms and fixtures that our suppliers have to offer. For this installation, our clients chose mid-level Delta fixtures for their tub/shower combination. This has a 6” tile trim, and the flooring is tile as well.
Other highlights of this bathroom installation include a custom full-length mirror as well as a 31” custom vanity, with a granite top. An additional heat run was added to the bathroom as well.
